Chiropractic adjustments are used to improve movement and communication within the nervous system. With improved nervous system regulation, the body is better able to adapt, regulate, and maintain balance. This can be helpful for concerns such as pain, tension, stress, sleep, digestion, hormone imbalances, and other systemic issues. The goal is to support the body’s natural ability to regulate itself and restore ease.
Adjustments may vary depending on the individual and can include high-velocity techniques with larger releases, the use of blocks to support pelvic alignment, or gentle instrument-assisted methods that do not involve audible sounds.

Yes, specialized chiropractic care is designed to support the changing body during the prenatal and postnatal periods. Adjustments are performed using pregnancy-specific techniques that prioritize comfort and safety for both mother and baby. Care is adapted to each stage and may include supportive positioning, pillows, and specialized table settings for added ease. Dr. Laila uses a chiropractic approach focused on pelvic alignment and reducing tension in the surrounding muscles and ligaments. By supporting balance within the pelvis, this work can help create optimal space for the baby to move into a favorable position for birth. Pediatric chiropractic care is a gentle approach designed for infants, children, and growing bodies. Techniques use extremely light pressure and are tailored to a child’s developing spine and nervous system. Each visit is adapted to the child’s age, size, comfort level, and stage of growth.
